According to the new order of the Ministry of Finance, only companies with at least 30% of revenues from IT-activities can qualify for the status.

The company must have the profile OKVED as the main one.

Banks and financial institutions (non-bank financial institutions and insurers), as well as state companies and government agencies will not be able to claim this status.

How bad is it for the banks?

Status of an accredited IT-company gave banks the opportunity to be exempt from income tax for 3 years, and employees to get a deferment from the army and preferential mortgage for IT-specialists.
