A children's underworld is discovered in the virtual universe for kids, Roblox. A teenage mafia is hacking accounts, stealing items, and making real money. One of them, a 13-year-old cheater, wrote a program that hacks into accounts and steals in-game items and currency. The young hacker "earns" about $2,000 a week.

Courtesy is the ultimate weapon in the children's world. With kind words any child can be persuaded to follow a link and enter their data.

Stolen items are "laundered" with a kind of virtual casino RBXFlip: two players put items on the line, a virtual coin is flipped, the winner gets everything. Only after that, the history of the items is reset and cannot be traced. A lot of virtual items are sold for real money, where "middlemen" are involved to guarantee the fairness of the purchase and exchange.

The Roblox platform offers tools to create your own video games and earn income. It was created in 2006 and has 164 million users, most of whom are children and teenagers who are easy to cheat.
