Bittrex leaves US due to regulators

Cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex is ceasing its operations in the United States. The company attributed its decision to an unfavourable regulatory environment that has made it impractical to operate in the country.

"It is not feasible for us to continue operating in the current US regulatory and economic environment. Client funds are available for withdrawal until the end of April and the global business will continue to operate out of the country," the platform said in a statement.
