ChatGPT has been spreading fakes about Binance

Binance has received multiple enquiries from Congress regarding the company and its CEO's alleged ties to the PRC. This was reported by Fortune, citing a spokesperson for the exchange.

According to Binance, the reason for the enquiries from Congress was ChatGPT. The chatbot claims that Changpeng Zhao developed the platform for China National Petroleum Corporation.

After a bit of research, Binance analysts were able to discover that the chatbot was referring to some fake Zhao page on Linkedin and a now-deleted 2018 Forbes article.
