A Colombian bank fell victim to phishing emails from unknown hackers, which contained a malicious Exel file with stolen banking data and a BitRAT trojan. Attackers obtained more than 400 thousand records with ID numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, customer names, payment history, addresses and salary information. Remarkably, this information has not yet surfaced anywhere, and there is every reason to believe that the information was stolen not for sale, but to further commit cybercrime.
