DEX Merlin hacked immediately after Certik audit

Decentralised exchange Merlin, built on the zkSync network, has become the victim of a hack. According to preliminary reports, hackers managed to steal more than $1.82 million in assets.

The project's main farming pools and publically-sales were launched immediately after the Certik audit. The company commented on the attack:

"Initial results point to a potential private key management issue rather than an exploit as the root cause. Audits cannot prevent private key issues".
