The cost of renting a LNG tanker will rise to $105,000 a day in September, up from $64,000 in August.

The reason: the energy crisis in Europe and the EU's desire to fill LNG storage facilities.

At the same time, the price of gas has broken through $3,000 per thousand cubic meters, further fueling inflation in Europe.
