National gasoline demand is now expected to reach 9.07 million bpd in July, down 2.2% from the June forecast and 4.8% from the amount consumed in July 2019.

Lower demand could cool fuel prices in the states. As a reminder, gasoline prices are holding above $5 a gallon in many regions, and consumers are complaining to the government about unchecked increases in gasoline costs.
